About Me:
My name is Mohammad Rami Qutob. I am a 17 year old teenager born in Jackson MI on October 29th 1999. I attend Michigan Islamic Academy as an 12th grader, but act like a 5th grader to be honest. I lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the first 5 years of my life, then I had to move away for 6 years to Damascus, Syria where I had the best time of my life. Then came back to Michigan to continue my studies and go to college here. Having to change what I was used to in Syria because of the moving to me was a bit of a struggle, my English wasn't well, my writing wasn't good, and even my reading wasn't that fine either. But, all I knew was what that I had to work hard on myself or else I would be way behind more than what I was once I moved back here. Sports have always been my thing since I was 4, soccer is my favorite. Although, people said that I did better at basketball due to me being a bit tall, I did what I enjoyed. In fact, I won six golden and two silver medals in soccer and I also won a golden medals in basketball all by the age of 12. Another thing that interests me is constructing things, and I believe the first thing I built is a bird house which fell apart a week later. In 2013 my team and I ended up winning 3rd in the MDOT bridge competition in all Michigan which just boosted my confidence in constructing things which lead me to join many clubs that had to do with building stuff . Another thing I love is reading, reading can take you to different worlds, lifestyles, and just something you don't get from watching TV. The papery feel just makes reading even more fun for me, that's what I usually like to do in my free time.
